"Wow - is the first word that comes to mind when I think about what a difference The Neat Freak has made in my home life. I was very overwhelmed and stressed by the day to day tasks of taking care of my busy family. I felt so much better just after the initial consultation. I was given practical and sensible ideas for the way our household works. I would be left wondering why I hadn't thought of that? Not only do you get a detailed list of what to do and how to get it done, you also have someone who is willing to work just as hard (if not harder) than you are at getting it done! I can't say how much of a relief it is to have systems in place that actually work for our family and keeping our lives organized. Thanks Amy!"

"You have totally changed our lives, all for the better, with 4 children it is hard to stay sane much less organized but with your help it has been accomplished at my house. At first my husband was a doubter, to pay someone to help become organized was crazy to him, but he is also a believer now and was the one who said 'Call Amy' when we decided to move our office to our home. I can't think you enough for all you have done for me and my family (my boys are all now getting on the 'organized bandwagon'), and in our house it is rare now for something to be missing, we always know where to look for things since everything has its 'home'."

"I've been wanting to drop you a quick note...the boys and I implemented the reorganization of the upstairs playroom. It's so cute and they think it's neat. They actually keep the room pretty picked up. I've been very proud of them. In the living room I bought two baskets to go under the coffee table and we are still in the process of removing the stereo from the armoire and using that for more toy storage. I also painted the living room and our bedroom. So, I'm feeling pretty good at how things are turning out. When I get a moment (ha ha)....I'll send you some pics. Thanks for the help!"

Question: How do I get started?
Answer: I will begin with a free consultation which will include a written overview and time estimate. If you decide to continue the process an on-site visit and a needs assessment will be conducted to initiate a plan of action for your project. We will discuss how your space is functioning or not functioning for you and determine the source of your disorganization. Then I will guide you on where to start and what steps are necessary to redesign the space so that it can function best for the way you live. I will create a time estimate and propose a realistic schedule for your project. Physical layout of your space and the possibility of using your own staff or family members to assist you will also be addressed.
Question: What do I do with the stuff I don't want?
Answer: Some agencies will pick up items to be donated. The Neat Freak offers complimentary delivery of unwanted items to charity and drop-off and processing of consignable goods. The tax write-off and proceeds go to you!
Question: Who will install the shelving, assemble the cabinets, etc.?
Answer: I can arrange carpentry work that needs to be completed. Some shelving and cabinets we can assemble together or you may want to assemble and/or install some items yourself.
Question: Do I need to be there when you organize?
Answer: Yes. The Neat Freak services are not a maid service. I will teach you the process of organization so you will be able to maintain it once I leave. There may be rare instances when I would be able to complete a project on my own, but that will be determined during the initial consultation.
Question: Do you organize businesses or homes?
Answer: Both! I specialize in home organization, but can also guide small businesses to establish functional work systems.
Question: In what rooms could you help me in my house?
Answer: You name it we can do it! closets, kitchens, bedrooms, baby's rooms, home offices, dining rooms, entryways, mudrooms, bathrooms, laundry rooms, playrooms, family rooms, attics, basements, garages, sheds, cars and more.
